Coming soon! G&A to offer BP Logix Vaccine Tracker to assist with complex compliance requirements
Despite the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to stay the OSHA ETS federal vaccination mandate, some employers may still be required to abide by—or may voluntarily choose to implement—a vaccination mandate. For federal contractors that fall under the Biden Administration’s Executive Order or workers at federally funded health-care facilities, employers should already be prepared to implement a vaccination policy and track employees’ vaccination statuses.
And, beyond the federal-level guidelines requiring employers to implement vaccination policies, there are also some state and local governments that rolled out their own laws and mandates. For example, California, New York, and Illinois enacted vaccine mandates, and Minnesota adopted the ETS as part of its OSHA state plan. At a local level, cities like Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia also announced vaccine requirements for many businesses operating indoors.
Further adding to the complexity, multi-state employers must contend with workplace vaccination requirements that vary widely across multiple jurisdictions, balancing the need to accommodate requirements from states that instituted strict employee vaccination mandates, while taking care not to overstep in states that instituted bans on requiring employee vaccinations.
To help alleviate the administrative burden that tracking vaccination status, COVID-19 testing, and exemptions may cause to your business, G&A is partnering with BP Logix to offer you access to the BP Logix Vaccine Tracker. This tracker, which will be available in February through your single sign-on (SSO) in Prism, will make it easy to:
- Track employee vaccination status, test results, and symptoms
- Comply with vaccination requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Avoid COVID-related workplace liability lawsuits
The BP Logix Vaccine Tracker application cannot only help employers track employee vaccination data and test-result data, but it also offers incident-management features. If an employee tests positive, the system can trigger workflows for mitigating spread to other employees and facilitating the employee’s safe return to the workplace once they have recovered and are once again fit for duty.
Access to the tracker will be available for an additional cost (PEPM fee). G&A Partners will begin implementation for those clients who elect to add the tracker to their service, soon.
If you would like to use the tracker, please contact your Client Advocate and we will follow up with more details as soon as they become available.
