PEO Insider: Navigating Future Workplace Dynamics

The modern workforce expects more from employers, says G&A Partners’ Director of Benefits Administration Brett Brown in the PEO Insider’s March issue. In the article “Helping Clients Navigate the Future of Workplace Dynamics,” Brown writes that higher expectations for employee benefits, increased compliance requirements, and changing work models “offer HR leaders and PEOs the opportunity to build programs that can provide a competitive edge for new talent and boost employee retention.”

An important trend to consider in 2025 is that “traditional” benefit options are not enough to attract and retain talent.

“Today’s workers, whether entry-level or veteran employees, want more flexible and customizable benefits plans to better meet their unique, individual needs,” writes Brown. “Including options for wellness programs, family leave policies, and retirement savings plans.”

The workplace is also experiencing significant labor law and regulation shifts due to the new presidential administration and congressional changes.

As Brown explains, “In recent years, labor laws and regulations have evolved at a rapid pace at the federal, state, and local levels.” He further notes that “Some changes will bring new challenges for business owners who must navigate these new laws, deploy changes within their organizations, and take action to become compliant.”
